Fixed Deposit is a secure investment. It is also known as Term Deposit. A Fixed deposit is a financial instrument provided by Banks and NBFCs which provides higher interest rates. If you are planning to invest in Fixed Deposit, here are the documents required for FD:-

Proof of identity: This could be one among:

  • Aadhar card
  • Passport
  • Driving license
  • Voter’s ID
  • NREGA job card

Have to submit a self-attested copy of the document of your choice along with the application for FD.

Proof of address: This could be one among:

  • Aadhar card
  • Passport
  • Driving license
  • Voter’s ID
  • Utility bills
  • Property receipts
  • Bank account statement
